Every product starts with a complete system blueprint: user flows, data architecture, RLS policies, edge cases. Then Claude implements it while I validate, iterate, and ship. It's faster than hand-coding and way more rigorous than hoping the code works out. 9 years in data analytics taught me how to think in constraints and edge cases — now I apply that rigor to building products people actually use daily.

How I Work

Map the problem first.

User journey, data flows, edge cases, constraints — before any code is written.

Design the system.

Database schema, RLS policies, API boundaries. Think through what breaks and why.

Spec the implementation.

Write detailed prompts for Claude, covering the exact behavior and edge cases required.

Ship and validate.

Test across browsers/devices, monitor for real bugs, iterate based on actual usage — I use FinCup daily and PlayTab every Friday with my own paddle group.

Group scoring PWA for paddle, badminton, table tennis, and pickleball. Started as an artifact I built in a parking lot before a match — lost the data, decided it needed to be real. Designed around a specific constraint: friendly matches let anyone in the group score from their own phone (no more waiting on one person's phone across two courts), while tournaments require organizer permissions. Built in real-time sync across courts, per-opponent head-to-head stats, and an embedded Splitwise-style expense splitter so groups don't need a second app. Self-linking invites let new players claim their profile across every group they're part of with one tap.

Couples' finance PWA designed to answer the question most budgeting apps skip: 'Am I overspending right now?' — not at month-end. Built pace-based tracking so overspending gets caught the same day, not weeks later. Architected a shared dashboard both partners see simultaneously — one database, RLS handles who sees what, no profile-switching required. Includes multi-currency accounts with live FX and loan/EMI simulation. I use it daily; my wife sees updates in real time on her phone.
